Our larger sea shell candle, for lovers of the ocean.

Before lighting the candle for the first time, trim the wick to 1/2 cm and place on a level, fire resistant surface or dish. Burn candles until the pool of wax is close to the rim before extinguishing. Keep your candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings and stop using when only 1/4″ of wax remains. Read our journal to discover ways to reuse leftover candle wax. A breeze or fan can reduce candle burning time by 30%. Be mindful when using candles in windy areas. As with any candle, burn within sight, keep away from flammable objects, pets and children.

All of our candles are proudly handmade using natural organic beeswax. Small variations and imperfections are normal and indicate the handmade process but never compromise their quality. Overtime the surface of beeswax candles may produce a soft white film, this is known as blooming and is a naturally occurring process. Blooming in no way affects the burning of the candle and can be gently removed with a soft cloth or warm hands.
